Bridlewood Farm is a private family owned ranch and guests are welcome by appointment only. Please inquire about our select group of quality young dressage horses available on occasion. Facility is also available for shows, weddings, clinics and corporate events.

Cottonwood Farm is a premier Las Vegas Dressage facility. We pride ourselves on exceptional care of your equine partner. We offer daily dressage instruction and regular opportunities to participate in clinics and shows. Dressage is our passion, horses are our love. Torrey Pines Dressage is located at a beautiful facility in NW Las Vegas. We are seconds from the trail head into spacious Floyd Lamb Park and across the street from the future location of the Northwest Equestrian Park. For our boarders, we offer premium sand and rubber mix footing, two dressage courts, a large jumping arena, two round pens, several turnout areas, secure tack rooms, and night watch/security.

Las Vegas Trainers

Anke Herbert originally from Belgium holds the German Pferdewirtsschaftsmeister license and has worked in
Germany, Holland, Switzerland and Italy for the Theodorescu family, Ilsebill Becher and Vincenzo Truppa. She groomed for Monica Theodorescu, who is now the team trainer for the German Olympic squad at Seoul and Hong Kong Olympics. Mondorf European Championships and Stockholm World Championships. In 2007 Anke moved with her husband to the bay area where she established a training business, which extends to holding clinics in California, Indiana, Illinois and New York.  Anke is now available for training a select number of horses at Cottonwood Farm in Las Vegas. Anke is a strong believer of cross training.

Dawna Kuhlmey has trained many young horses up through the levels of dressage, including her Grand Prix horse Izzy and achieving her medals on horses she has trained. Dawna has students of all levels and has coached them to many Local, Regional and National Championships. For additional information visit

Gail Alterwitz has over 30 years of experience training dressage with history as a British Horse Society Instructor, Potomas Horse Center and studying under Nuno Oliveira, Sue Halaz & Sue Curry. She has brought along young horses to FEI levels.  Caring deeply for her students & their horses, Gail encourages her students to enjoy the learning process & develop a deep relationship with their horses.  For additional information visit

Patricia Waddel is a life-long student of dressage, Pat is now helping others reach their riding goals. She has ridden Training Level through Grand Prix earning her Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals. Pat believes it takes hard work, commitment, a love for horses and a positive mindset to succeed in dressage. Pearlie Rohrbacher believes in cross-training to create happy, well-rounded horses. Although her focus is dressage, her horses regularly ride the trails or go for a jumping session. She continues her riding education by riding with international level riders & trainers in dressage, jumpers & eventing.  She is currently showing Prix St George & schooling Grand Prix. With her extensive experience, she is well qualified to help you learn to ride, train your horse, meet your competition goals or match you with your perfect equine partner.  For additional information visit

Stacy Williams is a USDF Certified Instructor/Trainer(Tr-1st); a USDF "L" Program Graduate; a USDF Bronze & Silver Medalist; and a USDF Bronze Freestyle Bar holder. Stacy operates out of Lava Bluffs Equestrian Center in St. George, Utah-an easy 2+ hour drive from Las Vegas. Stacy trains horses through Grand Prix. She has earned numerous Championship titles. Stacy has a small but committed clientele, who have earned USDF All-Breed rankings, qualified for Regional Championships, participated in the CDS Adult Amateur clinic series, and learned to create their very own, successful, Musical Freestyles. Veronika Morris is a USDF Silver Medalist and active dressage competitor. She welcomes students of all abilities and horses of all breeds. Veronika prides herself focusing on the positive and correctly moving up the levels.  Veronika has had success in competing through Intermediare I. She currently competes with and rides her young Lusitano mare, Fuligem do Arete.
